Ok so I am working on a Do 335 with the 30 mm MK 103 cannons in the wings. So here is where I am having problems. I would like to build this kit as if it participated in a "what-if" 1946 offensive on the Eastern Front. My thought were, what if Russia was being provided the B-29 to use against German targets. I would think the Germans would have used the Do 335 to defend against the formations of B-29. So my question is what Luftwaffe squadrons would have most likely flown the heavily armed Do 335?

The Italeri E-2 is the same as the Kinetics kit. Only difference is the decals and the Italeri kit comes with the both types of props and the makings for the Hawkeye 2000. I believe the prowler kit is the same also. I know Italeri released Kinetics S-2E.

hay All, Could someone tell me what the sprue number(letter) is for the clear parts in the Italeri 1/48 A-20B Boston and Italeri A-20G? Also what is the part number for the canopy? Thanks for help!!!!

Ok this is a long shot but does anyone know of or have an extra canopy for an AMT 1/48 A-20G and would be willing to part with it? I just opened my A-20 and found that the canopy has a crack in it. I know Squadron has a vacuform canopy but I have never worked with vacuform. I am willing to pay, trade, or whatever! Thanks for your Help

OK so I had to put my 1/24 Sea Mosquito down for a little bit. As one of my friends from the local IPMS chapter would say "my Modeling ADD was getting in the way of progress"! With the release of Caracal Models Air National Guard F-51D decals I could not think of a better "Fast Build" then a Tamiya F-51D. And here we are 4 weeks later. I have finished the F-51D. The build is OOB other than the decals. I did add tape seatbelts. There is nothing to say about the Tamiya F-51 that hasn't already been said. Its a great kit! Now the decals. Does anyone know if the Kentucky ANG F-51 used the Hamilton standards prop or the Aero-Production prop? Also would it have had the normal canopy or the Dallas-built canopy? From what little I can find on this aircraft it points to the Aero-Production prop. Thanks for your help!

Hey Everyone! Here are a few photos of my latest project. I am working on the Airfix 1/24 Mosquito. I am converting it to the Sea Mosquito using the Alley Cat conversion. Yes I am felling brave cutting up a $160.00 models! So far I have completed the cockpit. I have NO idea what Airfix was thinking but I am SO OVER filling in injection pin marks! Once you get the 100 injection pin marks filled in and sanded down the cockpit goes together perfect! As for the Alley Cat set WOW! NOTHING BUT GREAT things to say about it! Hope you enjoy. Hey everyone! Thanks for the help. I think I am set on using the Extra Dark Sea Grey and Slate Grey over Sky on my Sea Mosquito but this is not 100% yet. As for the invasion strips I still have no idea what I am going to do. I like the Orange and yellow idea but also think I might play it safe and go with just the white bands on the wings and tail. We will see.

Hey All! With my new project the conversion of the Airfix 1/24 Mosquito to the Sea Mosquito. :o I was thinking about how I am going to paint it. I am not looking to do the run of the mill paint job but something that is different. That got me thinking what if Japan did not surrender and the allies had to invade the main islands. Would the Sea Mosquito play a role in the invasion? Would there have been invasion strips on the aircraft? If so what color would they have been. Any ideas? Thanks!
