I use a litle piece of plasticard. I cut and sand it in order to obtain a realistic seat. Then I add some seat belts made of alu strips. Most of the job is done by the paiting and artist chalks. cheers Maurizio Bressan

Dear mates, my technique could you help. It was explained a little bit in my post about "finished CH-46E". I made the IR Jammer (rectangualr and not cilindrical like these but the technique is the same) cutting some festoons from Christmass Tree. The festoons are these that you place all around the Christmas Tree with metallic reflex (it is difficult to explain in English...sorry). I fond some festoons transparent with several colors, depending from the view you are watching. I stripped away some strips and cutted to the required dimensions. Hi Mike, try to use this one: after a gloss coat, put the decals in warm water with some drops of winegart and one drop of vinilic/white glue. The winegart will soft the decals and the vinilic/white glue is giving to them a new "glue". Remember ...just some drops! I had the same problem with the large decal "MARINES" places under the Phrog belly. Problem solved! cheers Maurizio Bressan www.ma-files.it

To Dylan: regarding the Ir Jammers, I made this way: I took some stripes of Christmas' Tree "festoons", the kind with transparent and multicolor reflective stripes. I then cut the stripes in the required sizes and glued to the Jammers using watered white/vinilic glue. YOu'll have different shapes of colors depending from the view you are watching the IR jammers , like the real jammers! Sorry for my English... cheers Maurizio Bressan Italy

Dear mates, finally I completed the Academy CH-46E in 1:48 scale. I started it on January and only yesterday I finished the project. I was due to some urgent modelling jobs I had (a F-16 as a gift and 5 1/6 scale WWII tanks to superdetail...). Interiors, cockpit, rotors and some extras were strachbuilded. Hi Spooky, I like the method you painted the model very much but we never had a gray Zipper with big numbers, sized rounded insignas, and hi-viz wing/squadron logo... All the servicing stencils are black... Nice model anyway... maurizio bressan
