Hi everyone! Back again after taking another break from building for awhile... So here is my latest completed project, the 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18C Hornet in VFA-86 Sidewinders CAG markings circa 2006. I was drawn to the large orange diamond on the spine, much like the old A-7s of the same squadron in the late 70s, so I knew I had to build my first Legacy Hornet in those markings. Hi there! So with my previous build slowly getting to an end (i litterally have one more thing to add before gluing canopy and calling it done) I figured I could try and squeeze one more build into this GB :) As usual the choice came with a story of its own ;) I was actually going for one more Hasegawa 1/72 F/A-18 (this time a single seater from VFA-113) in order to apply some of my new ideas to the build and to check how much time it actually takes to perform every task. Morning, So I built the Kinetic F/A-18C, and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this kit. As I noticed some very nice differences from their competitors, but also found some issues as well. But the issues are minor and enjoyed the kit and it's challenges with open arms. This version avail in the box is the Sukhoi 20, although I have not noticed the absent bird slicers from the real pics until it was too late. So there are mistakes as this was my first F/A-18C build.This kit I used as to see what I need to improve on for my Canadian Hornets and I also used this kit for a few experimental
