Pascal
Hi Folks, (stored in 2002 -for how long?- at Eurocopter French factory in south of France because of the embargo. Fate unknown) This is well faded paint; I have no clue of the original one... This is a sulfurous topic. 20 to 25 years ago, Iraq was the "good guy" and together with half of the world France delivered a lot of weapons to Saddam. But it was then classified and with the invasion of Kuwait in 1990, this regime suddenly became dangerous to deal with... What I mean is that you won't find many pictures oof the aircraft, especially on the Internet. AFAIK there is only one comprehensive book on the Super-Frelon by Lela Presse Publishing, with English captions. This is an expensive buy, only if you are interested in the type history and maybe some more images for this version... Sorry, I do not have this book... norbert
There is also interesting to see the nose position. It seems higher than the french Super-Frelon and is more looking like what is provided in the Heller 1/35 kit. There are also filters on the front turbine intakes very good choice Andy Norbert
EF
Another cool scheme:
