LoganTLR
Hi I am trying to confirm the shade of brown used by FAV MIRAGE IIIEVs. It appears the FAV MIRAGE Vs wore sand but the IIIs appear to be more of a brown shade. Any one have any insight? Thanks ! Tom
dagger00
MirageIII-EV wore the same colours as the actual F-16. Drak Green FS34.079; Dark Tan FS30.219 and Camouflage Grey FS 36.622....
Andre
In fact the topside colors are not those of the standard USAF SEA scheme, but FS 30450, FS 34052 and FS 34227. Schematic here: http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/draw/f16a_ven.jpg
levixhu
http://www.fav-club.com/articulos/mirage50envzla.htm Maybe the 30219/34079/36622 better. Levi

LoganTLR
HI Thanks for the confirmation guys. Lots of shots of the 50V and 5V that show the sand/tan but the one shot I had of the IIIEV was somewhat ambiguous. Cheers Tom
dagger00
That could be cos poor maintainance job, or the sun light reflections, or very worn out paint, but the shades are those told by Levi and me...
