TB2
Are there any sites that contain cutaway drawings of WWII a/c (particularly Navy fighter/bombers)? I'm trying to get my hands on some pics that show internal rib structures of flaps on wings and stabs for planes such as Wildcats, Hellcats, Avengers or Dauntless. Were all of these surfaces fabric? theplasticsurgeon
I've got a book with internal detail daigrams of all those sort of planes - and a lot more. Title: American Warplanes of World War II it says it cost £24.95 ISBN1 874023 72 7. A lot of the surfaces on the planes you mention were fabric - none say they were metal. I've got similar books for British and German WW2 planes as well
