gunpowder
Does anyone have any good shots of the rear fuselage of the above sabre? The pics i have indicate that the rear fuselage was painted right up to the jet pipe , but a bit scorched. Can anyone confirm this please?
Ben Brown
I've got a not-so-good photo that I can't post because it's not mine, but Thor's Hammer had the most aft section of the fuselage masked and left natural metal. Not as far forward as they masked on ANG F-100s, though. In the photo, the paint was starting to burn off of the section forward of the natural metal area. Here's a good shot of what it would have looked like: http://www.f-100.info/images/f-100d_53550-1.jpg HTH. Ben

Lucio P.
Hi, anybody have some image of real aircraft? I found only one http://www.supersabre.com/dbpics/55-2927-309TFS-Tuy-Hoa-THORS-HAMMER-01e.jpg - the same photo is printed in B&W in squadron in action n°
berniemckenna
thanks for posting the photo. I'm the weapons guy playing crew chief, hands on hip to remind the pilot hands out of cockpit. Its an AF photo. Reason I know we all have our shirts on and we we didn't do it as it was too hot. Bernie McKenna
