a4s4eva
I want to do a late model F-15C . I am using the Hasegawa kit, Wolfpack MSIP upgrade set and Afterburner decals aggressors decals. I'm after opinions on the Black box and Aires cockpit (late) . Which one is the best/most accurate/easiest to fit? Edit, added more details Edited April 20, 2008 by a4s4eva

a4s4eva
What scale mate? 1/48th or 1/32nd? Hi John, Sorry 1/48, I'll edit the first post
kiki.o
Hi John, Sorry 1/48, I'll edit the first post Unfortunately, there is no F-15C cockpit in 1/48. Your only choice is Black Box, but that set is a little bit hard to get.
a4s4eva
Doh ...... That'll be why I'm having so much trouble finding one
Maxtype
Hi. I'm gathering much the same kit and sets, and I'm pleased with Eduard's Photoetch 'Interior' set #49274 It has color PE panels and lots of tiny parts to upgrade Bay 5. -Dave
CraigSargent
Calum, Black Box do/did two different sets for the F-15C, one included the MSIP instrument panel and one didn't. The set fits very well. I've used it on mine and it was very easy to make the changes to an MSIP pit anyway. Good luck finding one though... I would expect the way Aires are going that a 1/48 set will not be far away given they already have one in 1/32 and seem to do a lot of mold scaling.
David Walker
I also have the Black Box F-15C MSIP cockpit. It's part number 48053, but I'm almost sure it's OOP. So yes, they're out there but they may be difficult to find.
