CorsairMan
I have not built it but someday I plan to do either that one or the -4 version. I am jealous of you - it looks like a blast to build. The things I have heard about the -1D are that the cockpit is not 'correct' and that the cowlflaps are completely wrong. Oh, and the wings 'droop' so you will either have to put them up or really reinforce them if you spread the wings. There are a few build articles on the web: http://modelingmadness.com/scotts/korean/32f4u4.htm Once I move and have a little more space, I will get one of these myself but not at the $$ they are asking for it. toadwbg
I found a Trumpy F4U-4 at HObby Lobby for $30-odd dollars last year :) I bought an aftermarket resin pit- the True DEtails one I think. Havn't built it yet. Toad
