darren
I wasn't going to do a W.I.P. as it's nearly finished, but I just wanted to show what extra's I've added to the cockpit and engine areas. I added wiring to all the boxes in the cockpit, and engine from some copper wire "borrowed" from my old workplace. The bigger pipes on the engines are from some scrap plastic. I also added seatbelts to the seat as I will be displaying it with the canopy open. Edited July 13, 2010 by darren
darren
And some more. Targeting computer in place. And weathered the top of the IP shroud. The engine detail. And the IP is from an old F-14 that was scrapped after falling off a shelf.
darren
Ok decals are now on. I've used some decals for Red 5 on my Red 3, just coz I want to! I've still gotta add another coat of paint before I bring the whole thing together.

darren
Ok some more on the T-65, and I've started to add a bit of detail to the engines.
Pirata
Very cool. I've got one of these and I've been looking for ideas on how to juice it up. Your details are well done.
darren
Thanx I'm enjoying as this model as it has a small piece of me in it.
darren
Right another action packed update. And it's looking like an X-Wing. The wings are now mounted into the fuselage, and the rear plate is on the rear of the fuselage. I've also added all the fixtures to the wings. I will add tge engines once I've painted the rear fuselage. So not much more to go now.
darren
Right another update. I've painted the landing gear, and under coated the ladder as this will be Red and the standing pilot, as he will be Orange and White. And engines painted and fitted to the wings. darren
Guys I'm so close to the finish with this build. Now IIRC wasn't Red 3 Wedge's ride? And I'm confused as to what Astromech Droid it would had had. (That'll teach me for not doing Red 5 lol)
PNW_Modeler
Not sure what the astromech's "name" is.....but it looks just like Artoo, except it is red where Artoo is blue.

mightymax
Not sure what the astromech's "name" is.....but it looks just like Artoo, except it is red where Artoo is blue. Probably R5-D4 if my Star Wars toy memory is correct. What kit is this? Cheers Max Bryant
