Jay Chladek
Why the heck are they using those crappy Tamiya plugs on their batteries? Get some Deans connectors man! And if they power it with a high current 11.1 Lipo battery, they could have larger storage capacity and potentially faster coil charge rates. Nice gun though! So, was that an Italeri F-22 they killed or an Academy one? :)
MarkW
All I could think was "He hates cans!! Stay away from the cans!!" I'm guessing that was the Academy body by the rear fuselage assembly. Definitely not Hasegawa--there wasn't any visible raised surface detail... Wayne S
Why the heck are they using those crappy Tamiya plugs on their batteries? Their not, look again.
Jay Chladek
Their not, look again. Okay, maybe it isn't but it still looks like some sort of spade connector plug. A slide connector type tends to work a little better in higher voltage applications without as much electrical resistance. A 3 cell 2000mah lipo would potentially take up less space though (meaning one with more milliamp hours could be used in the same battery compartment).
