1/72 R-M SR-71 decals..

I will be starting my next project, the R-M 1/72 SR-71. However, I am not too sure about using the kit decals. They look too thick and might not snuggle down correctly.

I heard that superscale, many years ago, did a few sheets for a 1/72 SR-71. However, I'm not sure and can't find any info on them.

If I can find the superscale sheets I would rather use them instead of the kits.

Can anyone help me out?

Wolfpack Decals has a 1/72 sheet with late SR-71 markings. Probably easier to get than old Superscale sheets.

they come up on ebay every once in a while and they are very nice! I have seen two different sets, one that has the yellow NASA stripes and the 9the SRW shield for those aircraft, and another that has an F-101 in the sheet as well.

Micro Scale sheet 72-110 has markings for three different SR-71As; 17974 "Ichi Ban", 17955 "Flower" and 17978 "Rapid Rabbit". I have that sheet. PM me to discuss which marking set you want.
