Julien (UK)
Does anyone do a model of the A109E, I really want to build this after seeing it the other week; Julien

Julien (UK)
Revell does (or did) one in 1/72. Cool, just goto track one down now! Julien
arkhunter2002
No no no. Revell did the A-109K, which is visibly different than the A-109E. It's unfortunate, I know, but we can always be hopeful that someone will make the A-109E. I've always wanted to do an MH-68A... Take care, Austin
Aaronw
Revell does an A-109K and KM in 1/72. As mentioned it is not correct for an A-109E but I believe it is primarily a change in engines / exhaust. With some decent photos I don't think it would be a major job to adjust, and for the casual observer probably not even noticable. Revell has two kits one a medivac helicopter, the other a military helicopter with rocket / gun pods.
J.C. Bahr
I've always wanted to do an MH-68A... Me too! but I believe it is primarily a change in engines / exhaust. With some decent photos I don't think it would be a major job to adjust, and for the casual observer probably not even noticable. It would be a pretty in-depth conversion as the entire upper engine dog-house area is pretty different dimensionally and would require a lot of re-shaping. Also, besides changing the shapes of windows and scratch-building the retracting gear... the sides of the A-109E/MH-68 crew cabin are bulged out more than the earlier variant, so there would be even more shape work. I suggest anyone whose interested, write to Revell and tell them that they need to do the later craft.

Oops, I'm sorry, the A-109 clearly isn't my type :P I know Model Alliance announced a A-109A: http://www.theaviationworkshop.co.uk/afa00...a109-p-613.html . Will it be possible to convert it to A-109E or to kitbash it with a Revell model?

Not to burst yet another bubble Pollie, but The Aviation Workshop has a lot of new releases planned and a discussion on the Scale Rotors Forum http://www.scale-rotors.com/forum/topic/ne...iation-workshop gives me the impression that they have a tendency to announce more than they eventually release. A typical case of First Seeing Then Believing... :) Gertjan
