dmk0210
I'm looking for a sanding stick with a ball shaped end, basically something similar to a Q-tip in size and shape. Anyone know of such a thing and where one could find it?
Triarius
Never saw or heard of such a thing, but I'd sure like to find some! Something I have used in the past for similar applications: an old "typewriter eraser." They were common in the days before "white out," and may still be available. They have abrasive embedded in the rubber. There are also rubberized abrasive points that come in a variety of shapes and sizes, generally used for jewelry. The problem with them is that most are too coarse to use on plastic.
PlasticWeapons
MicroMark sells some "Micro Mesh on a stick" packs in different sizes and grits. http://www.micromark.com/Polishing-Swabs-4-Grits-3-Each,8417.html Edited July 1, 2011 by PlasticWeapons
Grey Ghost 531
I've used a Dremel burr chucked into a pin vice just twisting it with my fingers. I also have a bunch of dowels, pieces of sprue, strips of wood that I've superglued bits of sandpaper to.
