Alpha13
Looks better! Just a note, Mr. Tamiya molded the antenna mount in the wrong place on the deck. The real vehicle never mounted an antenna on the right side. ACAV 113A1's and M106A1 and M125A1 Mortar tracks had the antenna mount next to the drivers hatch as shown in your model. Regular M113A1's had the mount behind the drivers hatch and/or further back near the cargo hatch. The mount is not accurate either, its missing the spring/insulator that the antenna screws into. Another note, the US Army in RVN also had ACAV Mortar tracks. Alpha13 better? Thanks for the input. Gino sorry to hear of your misfortune. Tankcommander
It's looking very good indeed. Excellent work. What veggie is on the back ramp? Looks like Jersey Tomatos. Keep it coming Steve. Looks like they may be loading up prior to going outside the wire. TC
stevenichols
I'd like to thank all for the great comments and feedback here with this build so far. I was anxious to do an armor build again as I have not done one since the A.M.P.S./Mosquitocon conventions in 2007. To see what I built for the show, those of you who have F.S.M.'s Great Scale Modeling 08, page 60 is what I built , Trumpeter's 1/16th scale T-34. Those are apples on the back ramp.
