Pappy121
G'day people, I am chasing some info in regards to Luftwaffe Tornado IDS colour information. I specifically want to know what colour the insides of the intakes are and a match for the external grey used on the sides and lower surfaces of an AG 51 "Immelman" squadron machine. Revell's colour call-outs are less than helpful since Revell are hard to find in oz and they will require mixing paints, and in any case I prefer to spray acrylics, thanks in advance, Pappy
Dndieje
Evening Pappy, There were two which could have applied to a late AG51 machine: The temporary overall light grey: http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/draw/eg1_tor.jpg And the standard NORM95 scheme: http://www.jpsmodell.de/dc/draw/n95_tor.jpg The intakes seem to be white or very light grey and the camouflage colour has about a 10cm overlap inside the trunking. Hope this helps.
JayBee
The TO says RAL 7012 for intakes. The edge inside of intake is coated with black foil: See here Norm 95 is FS 35237, FS 36320 and FS 36375. The new scheme is FS 35237 overall, same color like the Eurofighter. Plz note: Don Color's sideview is wrong for the Norm 95 scheme around the intake.
