PhantomPhixer74
This in from the Air Show above. The first nine guys fly Russian built aircraft as a precision flying group. I don't know if they are regional. I don't remember them at any previous shows but I have been out of Circulation for awhile. If anyone else has seen this group - sing out and let us know. This last one is supposed to be a Yak-3. I haven't researched it yet but it is on my to do list. Edited September 18, 2012 by PhantomPhixer74
PhantomPhixer74
This group of T-28s were in for the weekend. The two guys in the Marine and USAF grey T-28s flew together and did some nice flying. These last two were of course a TBM in from Grand JUnction, Co. I hope to see more of this one at the Grand Junction Air Show this coming weekend (Sept. 21-23) along with the Blue Angels. PhantomPhixer74
An absolutely beautiful A-26, B-26, A-26 (pick a time period and a designation to go with it). This guy was doing some pretty quick flybys but I managed to catch this group of shots. This guy, with way to much time on his hands has an engine like the one used in the T-2 Buckeye. and the Pyro guys seemed to have a few extras to hand. this close up was on Saturday and the last two were from a more distant vantage point on Sunday. You might be able to see the truck over to the right on the last shot. Edited September 18, 2012 by PhantomPhixer74
PhantomPhixer74
First some of the older jets. I never saw the Mig in the air but the other three were up on both Sat. and Sunday. These last two were caught on Friday. The CAnada jet was on static display through the weekend and the F-16 did a few fly-bys and I think headed back to Denver? PhantomPhixer74
and least we forget - the F-22 and Heratige flight with Double Trouble Two. Not sure why they do this particular part during the demo but I always try to get a few good shots in case I ever decide to detail the interior while building a kit and the break Edited September 18, 2012 by PhantomPhixer74

Steve N
Great shots..the one of the Invader with the mountains in the background really takes me back. I went to a big show at Jeffco back in '84..first time I ever saw the Thunderbirds. SN
Lone Buckeye
The Invader that you see in the pics is the A-26 Lady Liberty based out of Enid Ok. We almost did not make the show because of a faulty flap motor. It was a great show! http://www.a26ladyliberty.com/
