xavi84
I've used this stuff for a couple builds with awesome success. It's less than $3.00 for 20 yards of tape and it can be found at any drug store. There are three different kinds so make sure you get the one that says "gentle paper". MaxHeadroom
Hi, I decided to buy some of this yesterday and discovered something of interest for the frugal modeler. The same brand in Canada, besides having the English and French labelling, package also says 'Also known as Micropore' in the lower right corner. The back of the package says that the tape is packaged for use in hospitals under the Micropore brand. I went to a medical supply store to get my tape. The package of 'Nexcare' branded tape, single 1 inch roll was on sale for 4.49 (yes I know, we get hosed up here on prices). On a shelf on the other side of the aisle was an open box of Micropore paper tape, available for purchase as individual rolls, no packaging. The price of the micropore tape......2.79! Still a 3M tape. I bought a roll of 1 inch and a roll of half inch tape for less than the cost of the Nexcare brand. Also if you use those little plastic medicine cups, I got a sleeve of 100 for 3.19. The last time I saw them in a hobby store, it was 25 for over 5.00.

galileo1
Will be looking at this for sure! Thanks for the heads up! Rob
Lodewijk
I don't play risky with paint. I use Frog Tape which you can buy at any store. It is kabuki tape like Tamiya tape, but you get more for less. Still more than cheap tape, but not messing up a paint job because of cheap tape is priceless.
