markmarples
My next build will be a special one, this will be a tribute to all of bomber command and especially 617 sqn AJ*J was piloted by Flt Lt Maltby Crew Nav - Vivian Nicholson Bomb Aimer - John Fort Flt Eng - William Hatton Wireless - Anthony Stone Front Gunner - Victor Hill Rear Gunner - Harrold Simmonds as i understand it and please correct me if im wrong, AJ*J attacked the Mohne Dam dropping the 3rd Upkeep mine and causing a breech in the dam. This will be built using the Tamiya kit with, eduard interior etc, seatbelts, quickboost resin guns and weighted wheels and finished off with xtradecals 617 history decals So let it begin, ill try and keep updated as much as possible

markmarples
Thanks ive only gone and done the bottom of one wing as well, i put too much paint in the airbrush, so i did the bottom so i didnt waste it
markmarples
well here where i stand, there wont be much done i the next few days as i start nights tonight - wings painted, ready for varnish, then decals - main body is under going masking of the windows using valejo masking fluid (this is new to me as i norm use maskol) you will notice i pre painted the area black so i dont have to be 100% accurate with the masking i plan to finish each part, then when decals varnished and weathered bring the wings and body together
