Gary F
Will be starting the AFV F-5E this weekend. I tend to like the gray or blue schemes from the USAF units. Still sorting decal options to pin down details, but here's the kit: I'll be working on the pit with some scratch details and go from there. I'd like to do 74-1509 with a 2 tone gray scheme if I can cobble the decals together or find it in my decal pile.
phantom
I just received that same kit from Emvar, should come out nicely.
Aggressor01
Just finished my Aires cockpit for this kit. It is really nice and I highly recommend it. The kit seat is a bit blah as well. But it's your kit. Build that Bad Boy and show us what you got! I'm sure it will be superb.

SERNAK
If you're looking for references, there's a great book about the USAF's Aggressors units and paint schemes, "Colors & Markings of USAF Aggressor Squadrons" by Bert Kinzey.
Gary F
Thanks Sernak, It took a little digging but I found my copy of the C&M USAF Aggr book as well as the USN/USMC book. Also dug out some older decal sheets to see what was on them and if I can piece together the markings I need. I've done most of the cockpit work I want to do but it still needs paint. Also been trying to work up something for the intakes.
Gary F
Little bit of work ... some pit details Got the intake parts onto the upper fuselage so I can try to work up some kind of intake inside
