hooknladderno1
Has anyone used these? I am curious as to how you remove these from the backing sheet. Do you have to cut or shave them off? Thanks in advance. David
gluefinger
Laquer thinner on top of the nut or bolt. Let it soak.
MoFo
Whaaaaa???? NO! That would destroy them. You have to cut or shave them off. A sharp X-Acto or thin PE saw would be your best bet.
gluefinger
These are not the rubber backed photoetch?
sharkmouth
These are not the rubber backed photoetch? You're thinking Fotocut PE nuts and bolts. Meng, like several other companies now, offer polystyrene rivets, nuts, and bolts. In the case of Meng, ModelKasten, and MR (also the ones you will find on the sprues from several companies such as Dragon, AFV Club, Vision Models, Academy, and so on), they are on a slab and need to be shaved off.
