Pete74
Hi all I'm starting to build a model of the Canadian CC-129 in the Rescue version, accoeding to the alo Flight Colours 6-72 decal sheet, and now have a question concerning the lower fuselage and wing color. The decal sheet states this color as FS 16473 or Humbrol HX-3 PRU blue. From all the pictures i found on the net, the lower color seems much lighter as the PRU blue. What is correct? using Humbrol paints or a mix of them. Thanks
yvesff
It's not PRU blue, Tamiya IJN green-gray is the best match. Thanks The mix for 501-109 I have is from the old Argus Hobby Shop, Winnipeg; All Humbrol. 2 parts #2 emerald green, 2 parts #15 midnight blue. 85 parts #22 white, 60 parts #40 light gray. If doing a Dak then my instructions say to use 10 drops = 2 parts Cheers, tony Edited February 12, 2014 by Snowbird3a
