laval66
The topic says it all - If I wanted to build a 1/48 Fat Albert C-130T, how would I go about doing that? The Italeri C-130J? What mods would be in order?
tobiK
AFAIK the fat albert has 4 blades props, so better take the Italeri C-130H kit. The "J" already has the new props...6 blades? or more? About other modifications you need to make on the fuselage, I don't know.
KursadA
The Italeri C-130H is the correct starting point. I came up with a list of modifications when I was designing the decals, but never had the time to get the drawings finished. I will check if I can find them and at least provide a list here. Meanwhile, some of the photos at the decal sheet reference site may be useful: http://caracalmodels.com/cd48065.html http://caracalmodels.com/references/cd48065/

I have that sheet awaiting a kit, and figured that it's worth looking out for a good deal on the necessary kit/aftermarket
ikar
There's a lot you can do with that kit. when I built my wife's trash hauler I spent about 6 months working on the flight deck and avionics bay alone. I even put in the window that looks into the nose gear bay, the omega system, and crew bunks. Then there was the cargo bay....
