Banana11000
Nice job. The ill fitting parts are not "probably" your own fault, they are your own fault. The very precise fit means that skipping steps or improvising may yeld unpleasant surprises. Tourist, Thank you for your comment. What I meant by the skipping steps is I added all of the parts required in the eninge before moving ahead to the cowling. Following the instructions. The book calls for you to attach the bonnet in one of the last steps, I felt I should add it while working on the fuselage. My thinking was there was no logical reason to wait till after assembling the wings as that would have no effect on the cowling's fit. Therefore, to my knowledge, I, in no way skipped instructions during the engine and framework assembly. Simply a poor choice of wording. I'm not saying it's the kits fault -it's by far one of the nicest kits money can buy in my opinion- I'm just saying it's most likely my fault. I'm starting to think I may have somehow warped the fuselage resulting in the questionable fit. Thanks, Colin Edited October 10, 2015 by Banana11000
tourist
I wonder if installing the resin sidewalls created the problem. Did you cut off a bit of the cockpit floor, as required by Barracuda, before installing the right cockpit wall?
