Hasegawa 1/48 F-4E Phantom II kits without Navy Style upper wing bumps

Which kits do I look for. I am tired of cleaning off those bumps for USAF aircraft.I have had some F-4E's with them and without them.Thanks.

The Hasagawa F-4E with L.E. slats does not have the bumps.

Unfortunately,when Hasegawa kicked out their F-4S, they altered the slatted eing molds to include the Navy trunion covers.The first E releases are the only ones with out the covers and they go for a hefty price on Ebay for that reason.

The kicker about that is that the slats really aren't S slats. I'm not sure why they didn't make the trunnion plates a different piece. It would have been about the same amount of work.

I hope Academy make`s a properly late Phantom, i really hope, their latest Phantoms are awesome....
