airmechaja
The Hasagawa F-4E with L.E. slats does not have the bumps. Dean
ThePhantomTwo
Unfortunately, when Hasegawa kicked out their F-4S, they altered the slatted eing molds to include the Navy trunion covers. The first E releases are the only ones with out the covers and they go for a hefty price on Ebay for that reason. The kicker about that is that the slats really aren't S slats. I'm not sure why they didn't make the trunnion plates a different piece. It would have been about the same amount of work.
