galileo1
I have some glue marks in places inside the cockpit of mu current build and although I think they won't be seen once I lay a primer coat on, I'd still like to clean them up a bit. Some of these marks are in really tight places where sanding sticks just can't be used. I even tried my trusted fiber glass pencil but it too could not reach certain areas. Any other tools/techniques you can use for this? Thanks! Rob
dnl42
You didn't say what it was or how it came to be. But, my experience with untouched drips or spills from Tamiya Green indicate it shouldn't be visible, even when viewed head-on... If it's more of a gloppy drop, say from thick CA or epoxy, then you might try a very small "chisel" point, like a Mission Models Micro Chisel, to scrape or even pry it off. spejic
Cut a tiny piece of sandpaper, fold it in half, and hold it with fine tweezers. Sand with the folded edge.
cag_200
I glue a small piece of sandpaper on a tootpick for corners.
galileo1
These are some good suggestions. I use Tamiya's Extra Thin cement and although I'm pretty certain that these marks will be covered when primed over, I still wanted to not take the chance I'll see someone once painted. I'll post a pic here to show what I'm referring to... Thanks! Rob Edited September 1, 2016 by galileo1
