phantom
Starting up a 1/72 Hobby-Craft Caribou for someone else. This one will be OOB except for a bunch of nose weight.
phantom
Bunch of pennies and a couple German coins that kind of look like quarters. I intended to use empty paint bottles but the fuselage is just a tad too small.
phantom
I love the decal that Hobby Craft used for the insides. Red mesh with a black cover. Up close it really does look the part.

RCAFFAN
Are you actually using that tube of glue or is it just for sniffin purposes......
phantom
A little of both..........Hey Justin is all for recreational mind numbing. If we modeling types are going to go stupid, might as well go BIG stupid. Actually, I always use the old school tube stuff.

phantom
Its not there anymore. I had to move the instrument panel back a millimetre and stick a fishing weight in there instead.
phantom
Decals are on. This is done in the 1964 scheme which was overall white. The one in the background is mine. in the 1963 scheme with silver wings. Looks like I did not do a good enough gloss coat 20 years ago The white yellowed badly. 72linerlover
Hi Phantom. I saw with pleasure your Caribou last week end at the beginning of the build and I was sure that a series aircraft would be finished before my prototype. Funny but true. Nice model.
