frankycee
Hi all. I'm into a TMOTA F-16 build and almost ready to place decals. On the Vertical stab. there is a large 3-layered decal (1. white backing, 2. orange color/art and 3. Black tiger stripes) that is just a bit too large for the academy Stab. So any tips on placing 3 decals on top of each other? Also, should I try to trim the decals with scissors, or 'bend' them around the part using Micro-Sol / Micro-Set? Thanks
habu2
IIRC there was a sizing problem in the initial release and an update sheet was sent on request. I don't remember if the tail art was too large or too small, it's been too long..
dnl42
I don't do anything special for putting one decal atop another, except to make sure the lower has/have been blotted down; I typically use a cotton bud for this. If you can't get a replacement as suggested by habu2, you'll need to look at the artwork to see about trimming. You will need some overlap to go around the fin. I do this type of operation with the tip of a new #11 blade.
admiralcag
I let each layer dry overnight. Vern
