USN Ordnance circa 1990 (things under wings) - 1/48 sources?

Recommended Posts

Other than the Hasegawa sets, what's available in the mainstream and/or aftermarket world? Post-war jets aren't my normal fare, so struggling to find what's available.

I'm specifically looking for some Mk 84 bombs - the plain ones, not the AIR version. I think the Hasegawa Set A has two of them but ideally I need four. If there are some with the thermal coating moulded in, that's a bonus 🙂

Thanks,

John

Eduard make them in the Brassin line. Unfortunately only 2 per set, no ablative coating.

So you could probably round up plenty of free plastic ones from modelers who don’t need them, or if you want the extra Brassin bling, you could do those.

Meng makes some very nice sets.

Never mind, I re-read your post and your looking for Mk 84 bombs.
