An (almost) airworthy model of a SpaceX Rocket

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody,

in view of the recent event, here is another example of an (almost) airworthy model of a SpaceX Rocket that PyroDad created from 5.800 matches in more than 25 hours and presented in the NASA Spaceflight Forum. eek.gif

Here is his original text:

Due to COVID, I took up a new hobby of matchstick art.  So, I was inspired by the SpaceX launch this Saturday, so I made a SpaceX Rocket and Logo out of 5,800 matches.  I constructed it, hoping for a little lift off when I lit it up. Amazingly, though small, I acheived it.  You can see my video here:

Undoubtedly an original idea, smiley250.gif  but unfortunately the Liftoff was not fully vertical ...  :'(
