Slobodan Posted January 24 Share Posted January 24 Hi, First of all, forgive me for my English 😁 As the title says I'm building Hasegawa F-14D VF-213, OEF with TwoBobs decaks. Since TwoBobs are suggesting that one of loadout options was 2 GBU24 bombs on phoenix rails on positions 3 and 5 I would like to make that combination on my F-14D. My question is- if I put GBU24s on stations 3 and 5 should I put empty bomb racks on phoenix rails 4 and 6 or those phoenix rails should stay without bomb racks at all. mrvark Posted January 26 Share Posted January 26 (edited) I agree with A-10 Loader that bomb racks go on all four tunnel stations. If you want, you can add an AIM-7M on the aft (#4) station. Also, you must install the FPU-1 fuel tanks. The glove stations were independent, but while carrying LLLGBs, they'd undoubtedly carry an AN/AAQ-25 LANTIRN pod on the right pylon. GW8345 Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 Just a quick note, with four weapons rails installed you can not load a Sparrow (AIM-7) on the aft Sparrow station (station 4), the rails cover the area where the Sparrow's wings/fins would be. With two GBU-24's loaded you can't load anything else on the belly (besides the empty rails on stations 4R/6R). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
