Fairchild Hiller FH-227 Uruguayan Air Force 1/72nd Scale

Recommended Posts

I converted the old Airfix Fokker Friendship into a Fairchild 227.

The main job was to lengthen the fuselage in front of the wing.

This quite easy to do with plastic card and epoxy putty.

A few other change involved removal of air scoops, adding some air scoops and adding some landing lights to the wing's leading edge.

Decals are from "Far South Models"

The model was painted with Tamiya acrylics.
