Looking for help converting scale measurements

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to find the conversion of the F/A-18C/D sensor probes.  The 1/48 Hasegawa kit measures .385.  Rather than screw it up, can anyone tell me what the dimension would be in 1/72?

Thanks for any help!

1 - Full-size measurement would be .385 x 48 =  18.48 in

2 - In 1/72 scale,  18.48 / 72 =  .256666667 which would be approximately  .257 in

If he's referring the Pitot tubes on the lower sides of the those, they are NOT 18.5 inches long. The Hasegawa parts aren't correct and shouldn't be used as a basis for new ones.

Yep...they are a lot longer.  I found that out when I was checking the conversion number on the 1/72 scale.  Since you attempted them, do you have the dimensions for them that you can share?

I was actually able to get successful prints and have a couple dozen sets in stock. However, I do have drawings with measurements. I'll post them tomorrow as I'm out of the office for the night.
