Alex.B
I recently came across a video of a kind of spraying device mounted on the left side of a USAF C-130, something I've never seen before. Do you know what is it?
ST0RM
Link is broken, but was able to view it externally. That's the MAFFS II unit, for aerial fire fighting. -Jeff
Alex.B
First thing that came to mind was a fire fighting system... but I didn't know that was a service carried out by USAF too

The ANG/AFRes has a large part of the mission. California, Colorado, Wyoming and Nevada. Of more interest is this proposal for the C-27J to join the fleet of aircraft. Could be great for Europe. https://www.maffs.com/c27j/ -Jeff

Da SWO
I missed the "could be great for Europe, I thought he was talking about the US. My understanding is the C-27J doesn't have great hot weather performance, so making it a MAFFS bird might be dicey.
