  1. Not bad indeed! Hmm is it me or does the preshading look too dark?
  2. Hi there! I have an already built Monogram F-106,but i just decided to give some extra detail to the seat.. right now i'm removing the paint.. I wanted to know if any of you had a picture of the F-106A's seat so i can have a base picture of it. Thanks in advance! Erick.
  3. How did it get messed up? With a scratch?
  4. Thank you Dave. I just found a picture with the MK 82's. Now, time to scratchbuild the bomb carrying pods
  5. So, i'm in the final stage with my Revell F-18E,but as you know, the american version contains only 2 Aim-9 Missiles and two Sparrows, along with a centerline fue tank.. Now, the problem; It does not have bombs like the german version, and i have 6 spare MK-82 500 pounders and i wanted to know if this would affect the kits accuracy, or if there was a way to scratchbuild the GBU or another compatible bomb that the F-18E can handle. Thanks for your time! Erick.
  6. Very inspiring work, i would like to build a WWI era airplane now hahaha. You know.. i would love it if it was a see through model! It would achieve that museum quality standard. Anyway... about the wood effect, i like the interior effect, in the outside i would apply a wash to achieve that worn wood effect with different shades of brown and a a tiny part of black should do the job. Erick.
  7. Very nice build.. is this the old Revell Kit? I had two 1/32 lightnings a J and a Droop Snoot. Also.. you can see the yellow strip in the decals, is there a way to correct that?
  8. Thank you both! Hm.. i think i will stick to MsPaint some time, i really like the effects i can achieve with such a basic program.
  9. Hm.... wasn't the F-8 Crusader also a MigKiller?
  10. So.. ARCer's i can't afford digital drawing programs,so i'm stucked with my own MsPaint ''Art'' This is my latest drawing, the F-4EII From the 388th Tactical Fighter Group. Enjoy! I'm open for requests too so feel free to ask me for any airplane you want.
  11. Thank you very much Toadwbg! As for laredo, get ready for weird climatic changes, i was there a week ago and we hit over 40C still in Nuevo Leon we were drowning :)
  12. You do live close, but it might be too much ramble.. i will wait for toadwbg's approval. But thanks!
  13. Nuevo Leon, two hours from Laredo Texas.
  14. So, i've read alot of panel wash articles around, which have turpenoid in common.. which is famous because it will strip paint that has no protection.. Then one day i was building the Revell SuperBug and since i have experience with oil paint i said to myself.. Hey, why not use my Linseed Oil to make a watery solution instead of using turpenoid? I had this idea because i have no Gloss Coating, Future or Dullcoat.. Here is a small Process with no pics, sorry i don't have a digital camera: You need: -Thin artist brush -Normal Brush, not too big, not to small (you will mix the oil and pai
  15. There is this page called Airliners.Net it includes high definition pictures, still i don't know if they are detailed pictures of specific sections of the airplane, if you could tell me what the LEX is in normal words i would gladly look up some pictures up.
  16. That's not the problem, i'm 16, i don't have credit card, nor money i can spend making internet shippings, and i do believe the shipping time between mexico and U.S.A will take forever and it will be more expensive than the decals alone, but thank you!
  17. Hello there! I'm new to the forums, but i've been modelling for 10 years (i'm 16 by now) Anyway, to the point Recently, my sister bought me the new F-18E from Revell, this will be the second one i build, the last one was made out of the box with the kits decals for VFA-122, but now i'm willing to paint it according to the Tophatters scheme... the other problem is, i don't feel safe ordering aftermarket decals,so i chose to draw them on the computer, but i don't know where i could find the special decal paper... So i have a few questions conserning the model and the decals, but first.. here is
