  1. The previous announcements, including the listing that appeared on cybermodeler.com's 'coming soon' list a while back, were all for a 1/48 kit.
  2. I remember seeing this announced a long time ago. Would be nice to see it finally get released. Speaking of Dragon, has there been word on any more 1/32 bf110 variants being released?
  3. I believe I read somewhere that the D-11/D-13 will be released in the 'Dual Combo' format.
  4. I'm excited about that, plus the 1/48 Bf110G-2 and G-4, the future variants on the 1/32 Bf109E sieres, the re-issues of Fw190A-5 and A-8...
  5. My problem is that I really like Blue 8 AND White 6 AND Black 10. Decisions, decisions...
  6. I'm not sure if anyone's going to care about this one except me, but Eduard is re-issuing their Fw190A-8 kit in March. http://www.eduard.cz/info/photos/8173/index_.php It's the same kit as the old version, and even has the same boxart, but it does include a number of new decal options that weren't included in the first release. Check the link above to see what it comes with. Of course, most of the old decal options are removed. Some of these schemes provided look quite nice to me, though they may be old hat to folks who've been involved with this hobby longer than I have. I think I'll grab
  7. If anyone's thinking about buying this kit, there's a copy on ebay right now with a buy-it-now price of $58.80. Which is a pretty good price I think. Seller is based in USA. I buy from this seller all the time, he's very reliable, and ships very quickly.
  8. I paid a nasty price for that old Tamiya 1/48 Lancaster on ebay a while back. But with the re-issue coming, I expect demand for the old version will drop drastically.
  9. I can't view the link above, but there are pics on Eduard's site here: http://www.eduard.cz/info/photos/3001/ The gear seem to be attached at an agle in those pics.
  10. The new toy fair report up at greatmodels.com seems to indicate a Royal Class boxing of the 1/32 Bf109E is in the works... gonna be really expensive, but I'll be interested to see what they pack in with it, and what kind of decal options it will include.
  11. Yes, the word from Eduard was that they will release E-3, E-4, and E-7 as well. Plus trop versions. Wasn't clear if the trop kits were seperate releases, or if they basic kits would just include optional trop parts. And the latest Eduard newsletter suggests they plan to release some more 1/32 kits in the future.
  12. I'm not sure, but I'm somewhat under the impression that this Revell boxing is an older release, so I'm not sure if it can be a Hasegawa rebox, since Hasegawa only starting releasing Fw190s again fairly recently. And besides, I believe some of the 'new' Hasegawa kits are actually modifications of the old Dragon kit anyway? I'm guessing that, if anything, this Revell boxing is a version of the Dragon kit. But I won't know for sure unless someone else here has the kit, or a I buy the one on ebay, or the seller provides me with some solid info...
  13. Thanks. I've just sent the seller an inquiry, hopefully he'll be able to shed some light.
  14. So I guess no one has any familiarity with this Fw190 kit? I suppose I'll have to be prepared for anything if I decide to purchase it. I'm mainly attracted by the markings that come with the kit, as it's unlike the markings for any of my other Fw190s. I suppose I can just email the seller... maybe he can provide some useful info about the kit quality/details.
  15. Actually, I have the same questions about this kit too: http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-GERMAN-REVELL-1-4...%3A4%7C294%3A50
  16. Just curious if anyone's familiar with this kit. Revell of Germany 1/48 Fw190G-8 A-8/R8: http://cgi.ebay.com/Revell-of-Germany-1-48...%3A3%7C294%3A50 Wondering if it's a genuine Revell kit, or if it's a rebox of someone else's kit, whether it's got raised or recessed panel lines, overall accuracy/detail... or anything else you care to comment about.
  17. Nope, not the Buffalo. It's this one: http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/...em_num=SHY32023 32023 H-75 Sussu Hawks Over Finland And this is the Mohawk kit: http://www.greatmodels.com/~smartcart/cgi/...em_num=SHY32016
  18. In addition, Special Hobby also offers two additional boxing variants of the P-36/Hawk 75 kit. One's a finnish version and the other is... Australian or something? Can't remember the specifics.
  19. I think I forgot to mention, I also have the Dragon 1/32 P-51D kits. Even with the Dragon, and now the Hobbycraft, kits waiting to be built, I think I'd welcome a new 1/32 P-51D release from either Tamiya or Hasegawa. I'm consistently pleased with the kits released by those two companies. Now with all the talk about the lack of a 'good' new 1/32 Mustang kit, can we also mention the lack of a modern 1/32 Hurricane kit? Don't want to drag things off-topic here, but I LOVE the Hurricane... and the lack of a new kit in 1/32 is a puzzle to me.
  20. I'm not usually super critical or picky. But having recently purchased the 2 new Hobbycraft 1/32 Mustang kits myself, I have to agree with those that have voiced disappointment with the kits. The kits just seem... remarkably crude. Not just crude when compared to recent kits like Tamiya Zeros or Dragon Bf110s or any of the latest Hasegawa 1/32 kits, but crude period. I'm not sure if it's possible to fully understand this unless you have the kit in front of you. If you don't have the kit yet and want one, go for it. I'm not saying the kit can't look good after a lot of work. But the base kit,
  21. Looks like spruebrothers has a few copies now, too.
  22. http://cgi.ebay.com/1-32-BF110D-1-R1-DACKE...%3A1%7C294%3A50
  23. Does anyone know if the new Dragon 1/32 Bf110D-1/R-1 can be built as a regular Bf110D without the belly tank? I heard complaints about the decal sheets for the Bf110C-7 kit (poor decals, no stencils), so I was going to order some Eaglecals 1/32 bf110 sheets. Some of the Bf110 sheets include markings for non-belly tank D types, so I'm wondering if I should order them for use with the Bf110D-1/R-1 kit. I'm rather surprised that the Bf110D-1/R-1 is out already. I figured they'd leave more time between releases...
  24. I just bought a copy of each from a good ebay merchant - only $41.50 apiece. Paypal only though, if that matters.
  25. Squadron has it, if you're at all interested in online ordering.
