  1. That is just amazing. I wish I had the time, persistence most of all talent to create such an awsome piece. Certainly deserves a And one of these  since I am sure you are celebrating that it is complete.
  2. Great tip, and timely. I am about to begin painting the pylons on a 1/32 Bug. Do you recommend that I mix the thinner right away in one big batch or wait until application?
  3. Amazing work Pig. I am just starting on my own 1/32 bug and was wondering if you are using the suggested paint colors from Academy. It may be just the pic but the aim-9s look really light gray. Keep it up!
  4. I have a gap on the front half of the vetical stab on my F-16 where is meets the fuselage. I can see light through this gap. Any ideas on how to fill?
  5. Looks AMAZING! What gauge wire is used to detail the landing gear.
  6. AMAZING! Thats exaclty what I was looking for. Thank you!
  7. I am curious as to the gauge wire used to simulate switches in the cockpit of a 1/32 F-18. I have seen this done in the "In Progress" forum but cannot find it again. Thanks guys!
  8. I too use the guitar string method for 1/48 scale. For 1/32 scale it is a bit thin so I wrap my own.
  9. I use testors plastic glue and wanted to know how it compares to Tenax. I get gaps in the seams and am wondering if the glue isn't melting the plastic enough or if I need more practice at applying glue
  10. Airbrush taste is very subjective. I have seen outstanding results from a variety of brushes. There are some standard features to look for already listed in a previous response, but the most important fearture is how it fits in your hand. I would recommend finding a shop that will allow you to hold a few different models. Also, as a lefty, it was important for me to find a brush that did not have a side feed on the left side of the brush as that would interfere with my grip. Just my 2 cents. BTW I use the Badger 150 and it works well for me.
  11. It works great for soft edges, but make sure you paint in thin coats. If you go to heavy the paint tends to be drawn toward the tac and puddles there.
  12. Have your tried goo-be-gone? Maybe its just a residue that can be lifted.
  13. Just wondering if you can paint over these laquers with enamels. Do you seal metalizers before or after decals?
  14. I have used it for attaching canopies and it works great. For making windows, the instructions say to brush it on accross the opening. I have not tried it for this use. But it does dry very clear.
