  1. Hi, I have to replicate a camo pattern on a US Dakota wings & body for that matter so that the shape is consistent throughout the model e.g. butterfly effect. Normally I would use see through masking film to achieve this but just wondering if anyone out there has got any brilliant ideas that I haven't thought of yet?
  2. I like building two different models at a time and switching between the two of them to reduce latency
  3. I've used a Tamiya thin brush on glue but what I did was chop up some old sprues and put them in the bottle. The sprues dissolved in the glue and I now have liquid plastic to apply to those gaps!
  4. Great video, I tend to just use Tamiya panelines to get mine done in 1:72. I need to get a scriber though for those models that do not have clearly defined panel lines.
  5. Hi 11bee, I've found a recent advantage to using a clear sealing over my decals: I airbrush Tamiya X-22 acrylic clear coat before applying decals, after decals are applied I just airbrush X-22 over them. I then apply Tamiya panelines which is a thined down enamel paint over panel lines. Because of the process I've used I can also paint panel lines over the decals which creates a really cool effect. When I rub off excess paneline paint off with an enamel thiner neither the paint or the decals are attacked as the enamel thiner doesn't work on acrylic.

Hi I was wondering if anyone out there has spare parts for an Emily 1:72 scale, mine are broken and need replacing

  7. Hi Guys, Thank you so much for your help, I appreciate it.
  8. I recently got an old Frog kit from eBay & the protection (top) sheet is sticking to the decal and leaving paper on the decals. Is there a way to fix this? Best regards, Dan
  9. Hi, I recently moved countries and have lost the instruction sheet, gun turret canopy and decals for an Italeri 1:72 Hudson. Can anyone help?
  10. Hi, Does anyone have a cockpit for a 1/72 LAGG-3 Russian fighter. The make is Emhar. I've lost mine Cheers, Dan
  11. Hi, Can anyone help me? I've lost my instruction assembly sheet for my Blohm & Voss 138 flying boat (Revell) while moving. I also don't have the decals. If someone out there has a spare copy they could send me I'd be grateful. I don't want to waste such a good model. Thanks, Daniel
  12. Thanks everyone, very helpful. The Revell box retails from around £5. Its just been a fiddly pet peeve of mine to have to always build a figure for my planes.
