  1. Thanks! yeah he must've? I never seen that one before... Thats a money shot indeed B)
  2. Thanks for all the compliments everyone! Actually it is on the public mil site on nellis' website. At first they have the wrong name and wrong squadron in the pictures section but somehow they got it corrected in the news archive? I called to get it corrected but I guess they had more important work to do at the time... anyways, here is the news story thats in the archive... my picture would be on the second page. Enjoy... http://www.nellis.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123072797
  3. I can has santa smiley? no? lol
  4. Was on a recent TDY to Nellis AFB 1 week prior to Op. Red Flag and one of their photographers took a picture of me and my jet and thought it was pretty cool... Never had a picture of me in a sillhouette form so I thought i'd share it with you all.
  5. Hey everyone, thought I'd swing through to say hello and to drop a lil bit of good info for you Viper lovers! Last week I was called into my Flight Chief's office for a little one on one talk with maintenance supervision. Apparently my squadron, 310th AMU TopHats is going to be getting and housing Luke AFB's third Wing King Jet which will be the second higher ranking Wing King we have on this base next to the FW and the OG jets. It will be the Vice Wing Commander's jet, Col. Reed and they also asked me if I wanted to crew chief that jet as their ADCC (Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief) and I very
  6. I got it but my camera zoomed out also trying to focus but it is still clear thank god ...
  7. As far as I know, Transient Alert got to him and he must've got it fixed last night cause this morning I had to be at work at 6:30am for a Mass FOD Walk over the whole airfield and I picked up pieces of the tire that flew into the grass and off to the side of the runway. I seen the mustang take off at around 9am this morning when I was wiping down my jet on the flightline... The thunderbirds took off shortly after in full burner and did a max climb and they all dissappeared one by one. :)
  8. Will be sending you and scott (afterburner decals) reference pics here tonight once I get back from running a couple errands... BTW, thanks everyone for your support and kind comments! Greatly appreciated! :)
  9. I went on Saturday with a couple of buddies from my AMU... had lots of fun and got most of the pics you have... BTW, did you get the shot were they intersected each other from 4 different angles? That was awesome! Great pics Rip!
  10. PM Sent... Thanks for the comments everyone! B)
  11. Correct although it is two pieces, when we break down our jets before the first flight of the day, we will take the radome cover off leaving the pitot cover still on. It's just attached by velcro. :)
  12. Just wanted to share with you all my newly assigned jet! Finally got the chance to get my name put up on the nose landing gear door as I am an ADCC. Hope you all enjoy, and by the way who's all comming here to the Luke AFB Airshow?
  13. I'm an F-16 Crew Chief... sadly I dont have any pics
  14. so with that being said, do you think it would require alot of work fitting parts from the Hase kits into the new Tamiya Kit?
  15. Don't know about the actual count but yeah I would suppose that the other 90 is here and accounted for? But yeah being a Viper nut, I get my fix everyday without a doubt. It ruins my mood and erks the hell out of me when the pilot brings my sh!t back a code 2 or code 3 because he either broke it, something malfunctioned or he over G'd the airframe...
