  1. My eyes are watering. Thanks for sharing the review and the pictures of the sprues. I can't wait to get one. One R/M A-10 Warthog going up for sale on ebay. I'll keep my Black Box cockpit though. Anyone know when this kit might be released in the States?
  2. I heard the same from a buddy who flys there. Rumor has it that DAL is going to hire soon too.
  3. About a year ago I saw somebody who was selling some old 757/767 manuals on ebay. I was amazed by how much money they went for. I thought about doing the same with my old manuals to feed my family while on furlough. I guess not now.
  4. Is this the Italeri or Hobby Boss kit?
  5. Hey guys, I normally build 1/48 scale kits, so I'm not familiar with the smaller scale stuff that's out there. So I'm wondering if you guys can help me? My son wants me to build a model with him and I was thinking of doing a 72nd scale legacy Hornet, since that's one airplane he likes. I was looking at the Squadron catalog and they have two differnet kits listed. One has a kit number of 0438 and costs $9.98, the other is kit number 729 and costs $20.96. Is there a difference between these two kits, the higher number kit being a newly tooled kit and better quality or just a reboxing with
  6. Did they have a release date for this kit?
  7. Yes, yes I am wondering the same thing. I have been studying the photos but see no sign of the Warthog or Hornets they are supposed to be releasing.
  8. Man I can't believe these decals are sold out. First I miss out on the great Squadron Tomcat sale and now these decals are sold out and I didn't get my pre-order in. This has not been a good month for me scoring the good deals. Guess I'm paying the full price for these.
  9. I'm surprised that they are honoring the sale price on back orders. Their flyers always have the disclaimer that sale prices are limited to quantities on hand. I sure hope they do, as I was a day late and a dollar, actually 22 dollars short when the sale ran and missed out on ordering one. It's early in the month and maybe they'll restock before the month is over, since they sold out so fast.
  10. That's one eye watering display. A big "At-ta boy" to all who participated. I wish I could have seen it in person; I'm looking forward to seeing more pictures posted.
  11. I would get any Hasegawa F/A-18A. In addition to being the correct version of the Hornet, you also have a fairing for the gun port and the pipe for the smoke generator included with the sprues.
