  1. Yep, Definately a show worth going to. I covered this one last year, and it was outstanding. And what a great venue for a show, with the beach, the boardwalk etc.......If l lived close enough, I would go to this one every year. On Friday, go to the airport and visit the American Airpower Museum. Rally nice folks, with a slew of pristine warbirds. Plus Bob and Chris Baranaskus will be ther with their P-51 and P-40 from Warbirds over Long Island. Great Folks! All of them!! Craig
  2. Ken, Those are Great! Yes- I am interested to know what you are shooting with as well.......those are tac sharp! Thanks for posting, Craig
  3. Ken, Those are Great! Yes- I am interested to know what you are shooting with as well.......those are tac sharp! Thanks for posting, Craig
  4. Jake, Great shots! WHere did you do your air-air?? I love the background in some of those. I had the pleasure of seeing this at T.O.M. this year, and it really is a good looking Herc! Thanks Jake, Craig
  5. Nice shots, Fellas. John, I really like the C-45 / C17 Heritage flight shot - I didn't get to see that this year. Looks like it was a decent show. I had planned to go to this one, but chose Marietta instead. They had a better lineup, but lighting was less than ideal. Too bad the Blues will be flying with only 5 jets for the rest of the season....... Craig
  6. Agreed. Show left seemed best to me as well. Don't do grandstands, I always thought it best to wander around for different perspectives, but if you plan to camp out, show left. Have fun! I wish I was going, but I chose Pensacola this year instead. Can't wait to see some shots, Craig
  7. Sunliner, I believe all aircraft are supposed to stay inside the designated "airshow box" which is 500 ft. from the crowd line at it's closest point. The airplanes can come directly at you, but the must stay inside that box, per FAA regulations. Also, good to see "Glamorous Gal" make a show all the way down in Florida. It belongs to some friends of ours, Bob and Chris Baranaskus of "Warbirds over Long Island." They are good people, and I love that Mustang.......I was lucky enough to get some back seat time in her earlier this year. Fuji - Can't wait to see some pics! Craig
  8. Mark, Yeah - I was there and it was good to see you again. This was a great show! ALlot of power - F-22, F-15E, F-18F, Thunderbirds........My only complaint - not enough warbirds. THe only warbird on hand was the P-51, Lauderback's mustang "CrazyHorse" for the Heritage flight. There was also a Corsair on hand for the LEgacy Flight, but once again, he had to cancel / divert home due to maintenance issues....bummer. Anyway, here are a few pics......... Rainy Friday PM...... Saturday - Mo Betta!
  9. Greg - Yes, that is correct. It is the Tomcat in the airpark. Only it is now in VF-103 colors and is not split between two squadrons. I beieve it is the award bird for "Battle E" and whichever squadron hold the award gets to paint the aircraft in their colors. Craig
  10. Nice going, Ken! Way to go!! Craig
  11. Nice lookin' shots! I especially like the Sunset shots. I hate to have missed the evening show. WOW!! A few of the Legacy Hornet demo on Friday.......
