Hello, I am starting a new project: the first prototype of the Tomcat, in flight, on the GWH basis. I will use a F-14B kit to do so. Why ? Because I wanted to represent a VF-102 F-14B(Upgrade) with a HUD. But VF-102 never had F-14B(Upgrade) with a HUD ... but, I am happy to have the decals for a future Academy kit. And also, I've never build the GWH Tomcat and I wanted to see if the kit was worth it ... (because, I could have bought 2 Academy kits for the same price, and I would still have some money for extradetailling kits). I have to confess that is not my first

Good Morning Eagle fans! Inspired by my latest decal release I have to start an F-15C from my favorite USAFE Air Base Bitburg. I choose the 80-0013 or balls 13 of Captain Greg Clasen "The Claw" because our last names are quite familia and his Eagle was full of stencils and panel numbering. As for the stencils and panel numbers I will use this set: All decals or just the stencils are available here: https://www.pkproductions.de/shop/

Good Morning, Attached are the first few photos of my next work in progress, this is a bit of kit bash between these two kits and both are being built parallel. 20200105_134423 by J Hooper, on Flickr The fist subject will be a new F-15SA (Saudi Advanced), still being flown by Boeing for flight test and integration purposes. Inspiration for this build can be seen in the link below: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/21755/f-15sa-bristles-with-a-dozen-aim-120s-missiles-during-star-wars-canyon-run The second subject will be a Israeli Defense

I used to model as a child, and now I decided to get back to the hobby. For such I chose the GWH 1/48 Su-35S, I love how the Su-27 aircraft family looks, and Ive seen some awesome reviews of this kit online. To the point, mine arrived a few days ago from China, and as I wait for the rest of the stuff I need for the build to arrive, I figured I would start this topic, and adress some of the first questions that came to my mind regarding the build. Starting by some doubts regarding which joints are and wich joints arent panel lines: The joints that have BLUE lines paralel t

Well, I was admiring Aigore's natty WIP of his 9.13 and wondering where he got the little placards and whatnot for the ejection seat, etc. I love these neat little touches, and they looked thinner and nicer than the usual printed etched bits... Sure enough, if you turn up the GWH instruction sheets on HobbySearch, they are mentioned on the cockpit page. Also, if you have a 9.12 (Early) as I do, be assured the same decals are there along with the instrument panel ones, despite them not being featured in the instructions. The thing is, there are more similar looking placa
