model_madness Posted February 23, 2007 Share Posted February 23, 2007 At long last some progress on my Mono 1/48 Zipper. Detail is pretty good for a kit nearly 30 yrs old, fit ok, had to do a bit of sanding and puttying round rear fuselage and intakes. Did the cockpit and pilot last week, last 2 days/nights have feverishly been doing the 3 tone camo. Must admit, next time i will use paper masks too, not just blu-tac as im sure it goes quicker. Used Tamiya and Xtracrylix acrylics, went on well besides a few areas that came out so-so - not too much clogging. This is only my second build after returning to the fold, so im happy with the results so far.... Comments/suggestions welcome? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
