My_name_1s_MUD
Here's a litttle $80 garage kit by fantastic plastic. It's the Naboo Royal Starship that carried Queen Padme and company from Naboo to Tatooine where she first met Anakin. It was a breeze to put together and the price was right (remember garage kits of this size can be alot ALOT more expensive). It was my first real attempt with Alclad 2 Chrome. I had a tough time with the paint peeling off as I was trying to mask the windows. I also had a tough time with fingerprints (even with rubber gloves) on the black gloss enamel base. I'm not really pleased with it, but I'm sick of looking at it, so I'm calling it finished. I learned alot in this project, which is important to me. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c269/bbeargie/Naboo%20Royal%20Cruiser/naboo3.jpg ://http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c...ser/naboo3.jpg ://http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c...ser/naboo3.jpg ://http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c...ser/naboo3.jpg ://http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c...ser/naboo3.jpg Edited April 16, 2007 by My_name_1s_MUD

Grant
Sweeeet! I so want to do one of those, it is just the price of these kits that puts me off. Grant
SBARC
Very nicely done. I never noticed it before but this spacecraft seems to be inspired by the SR-71 in the nose area. Steve B
Andre
I never noticed it before but this spacecraft seems to be inspired by the SR-71 in the nose area. Not just the nose area - the whole wing and nacelles as well IMHO. Nice build, by the way! Cheers, Andre
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Yes, as I recall, the SR-71 was the direct basis for the craft's design.
