pollie Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 I started work on this little kit at the same time I started building my 1/48 entry. Since it is a lot smaller , it was ready a lot earlier too! This was finished about two months ago, but didn't have time to take some 'decent' pictures and post them here. Kit is completely OOB except for the decals. I used the excellent Turquoise decals for the roundels, tail flag and code numbers. Rest of the decals OOB. Weathered with acrylic sludge wash, airbrush and Tamiya weathering set. I tried to made it look like one of the weathered ex-German Marineflieger F-104s that went to Turkey. This particular aircraft served at Bandirma until the mid-nineties, when the unit got the F-16. Thanks for allowing me to participate in this GB guys, I enjoyed finishing two Century Series jets!!!
