mikestomcat
G'day Everybody, I figured while I was building one recon Phantom Iwas might as well build two in tandem. So If no one objects I'd like to also enter an RF-4C No 65-0843, 106th TRS, 117th, Sheikh Isa AB, Bahrain, 1991. I'll use Hasegawa's 1/48 RF-4E as my base kit and back date it to an RF-4C, I'll also add resin goodies like Exhuast Nozzles, Seats, Hard Wing Flaps and Slats and obviuosly Camera Bay. Hopefully I'll have enough time to get it finished. Mike ...

mikestomcat
Hey Guy's and Gal's, I thought I'd better get a move on with my 2nd Phantom. So I've started by cutting into the side of each fuselage to fit the seamless intakes in, which fitted perfectly. Next I'll cut open the panel above the air scoop and start detailing camera bay and pit...
yardbird78
I really like those intakes. They certainly are an improvement over what comes in the kit. Darwin
Deacon
Those intakes look great mate. Deacon
mikestomcat
Thanks Fellas, I'm always surprised at how easy they are to install, and they do make a huge difference to the appearance of the kit. Mike.
mikestomcat
Well I've finally got the pit finished, and it's ready to be installed into the fuselage. Now I'll turn my attention to the camera bay, hopefully it won't take as long as the cockpit. Mike
yardbird78
The Remove Before Flight streamers seem a little oversize, but otherwise, the cockpit and seats are fantastic. The detail is extraordinary. Darwin
mikestomcat
Thanks Darwin, The R.B.F tags are from Eduard. I've always thought they were a little to big when I've used them on other aircraft but figured they say there 1/48 so never really did question it. Mike.
