Eri
I don't know if you all have thought about this, but it would also be really neat if you guys offered different carrier deck sets. I was thinking maybe just a carrier deck section where AC would be parked, and maybe an elevator, etc.. Then, if you wanted to get really creative, you could make it so that someone could combine the different sets to make "bigger" sets. Just a thought. I would be interested in a couple. Cheers, -Doug :) +1 Doug I was thinking along the same line too
Raymond Chung
+1 Doug I was thinking along the same line too Hum... it will be too big in 1/48 ? I think it is more suitable in 1/72 ? Do you think so ?
Eri
Hum... it will be too big in 1/48 ? I think it is more suitable in 1/72 ? Do you think so ? Honestly Raymond, I was quite happy with the base which you guys are planning to produce. I started to build 1/48 only because most of Kinetics SUFA and Barak are in that scale. The Sufa remains the only 1/48 scale aircraft in my display cabinet the rest of the 1/48 are still in boxes. All my aircrafts are in 1/72 scale, i was hoping that the bases which you intend to produce in 1/48 will be also re-produced in 1/72. A suggestion would be to retain the base frame as the 1/48 size and sell the base printouts in 1/72 instead. That way, we could just swap the base prints as required. Plus maybe a 1/48 base frame could accomodate 2 1/72 aircrafts.
Jinxter13
Hum... it will be too big in 1/48 ? I think it is more suitable in 1/72 ? Do you think so ? With all the Navy guys here; it's a no brainer. If you mold it they will buy it, and not just Navy guys....all walks of modelers will get in on the act.
FAR148
Now what would really be nice if you could add the shooter bubble as well as a display of Cat's 3 or 4 and not just 1 or 2. http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/aircraft-carrier-33.jpg http://www.navy.mil/management/photodb/webphoto/web_110317-N-0569K-030.jpg http://www.navy.mil/management/photodb/webphoto/web_101209-N-9693M-011.jpg My 2 cents Steven L

Girolamo LORUSSO
Ramond Hello, I think you had a good idea. I think you should extend to the entire aviation industry on a scale of 1 / 48. There is much space to fill, including tractors figurines and more. The SkunkModel has set a good example, especially in modern aviation
petebuilt
Raymond, BTW we are in need of some injection molded 1/32 USN aircraft carrier vehicles and personnel also.
kurtd123
Holy smoking wallet, Batman! The Profiline kit is $149EU in 1/48 scale! At $1.42 USD per EU, that is $211 USD before shipping!
Julien (UK)
If you do this in 1/72 I am buying it! Julien
Scooby
Now all we need is a WWII carrier deck with the elevator going up!
