rightwinger26 Posted April 12, 2016 Share Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) Well, I can add this one to the shelf. For my second NMF finish, I think it turned out, ok. It's by far, not the best I've ever done, but it was a fun learning process as far as prepping seams and such for an NFM finish. I used two different colors of Alclad aluminum, and gave it an over coat of dull coat. I intentionally went a little light with the Alclad in places to allow more black to show through, hoping it would give the impression of a metal surface that has seen a few Siberian winters, I think I went a little too light in some spots, but like I said, it was a learning project. Just only one note, this version of the Mig-17 was the PFU version armed with 4 AA-1 air to air missiles (RS-2U the missile type in the soviet term).
