jesTer
May the Fourth be with you everyone! Hope it's OK for this forum since it's sci-fi. :)/>/> This was built completely OOB but it's my first attempt at heavy weathering. Turns out it's not easy to make things look random at all. But it's a good practise and the build turned out very well and very problem-free for once. More pictures on my site. All comments welcome.
2qwik4u
Nice! How was the kit? What techniques did you use for weathering, especially for the canopy glass? -Dave

jesTer
Thanks all for the kind comments Nice! How was the kit? Otherwise, it pretty much falls together in place without a single drop of cement. As for weathering, I tried all the usual methods for this one: salt chipping, sponge chipping, oil wash, color pencil and handpainting. I wrote a step-by-step that I did here > http://www.rocketpunch.biz/2016/04/20/project-148-bandai-snowspeeder-2/. Do take a look. The canopy glass was simply wiping with a wet cotton bud over a light dusting of paint. Edited May 6, 2016 by jesTer
