RaymondNZ
HI! For my third entry I will build a 1/72 Su-15TM from trumpeter, after being inspired by the wrecks at Ugolny Airport in the far north-east of russia many years ago I had a go with the bad PM Kit, so looking forward to completing one! I got ahold of a quickboost replacement nose cone for the kits one for the cockpit I used a method of creating raised details with a needle-like thing i found at a craft shop - works pretty well :-)
Grandboof
Good start with this one The first build looks like it could still be saved Martin H
RaymondNZ
Did something dumb: i forgot to check the top part of the cockpit fuselage before gluing into place! it left a step which i managed to oversand; creating a dip...so out with the epoxy... Quote Good start with this one The first build looks like it could still be saved cheers! though this kit went to the great build in the sky well over 10 years ago i think!

Grandboof
Your surgery is proof that another kit is always handy just in case . A reason to buy more than one or two or three . Looking forward to more Martin H
RaymondNZ
hehe indeed, always "buy one for now, one for later" ....and that's how stashes are born! Did a little bit of work on the instrument panel today:
RaymondNZ
small update: slowly coming together with lots of puttying and sanding! IP finished, not totally happy with it - i tried to make convincing dials putting in white, then bits of black, then filling with clear varnish, it sort of works! Berkut
Not a plane one sees too often, great job with the nose and cockpit so far Raymond.
Sebastijan
considering you are building in 1:72, I think that IP looks awesome!
